BTA is open to all tennis enthusiasts, there is no minimum playing standard. There is no waiting list.

There are different membership categories. Subscription rates given below are for the current year
April 2009 - March 2010, a reduction is normally applicable for those joining after July:

Adults
Standard £107.50
Senior (over 60 years old) £86.50
Student (under 25 years old in full-time education) £47.50

Juniors
Junior (12 to 17 years old) £47.50
Junior (8 to 11 years old) £32.50
Junior (under 8 years old) £13.50

Family (maximum of 2 adults) £230.00
Social (for non-playing members) £15.00
